About the role
The role involves managing inmate populations, enforcing rules and regulations, and ensuring the safety and security of both inmates and staff.
Responsibilities
- Manage inmate populations and conduct daily rounds
- Enforce rules and regulations within the facility
- Ensure the safety and security of both inmates and staff
- Handle emergency situations as they arise
- Conduct interviews and make recommendations for inmate placement
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, corrections, or a related field
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in corrections or law enforcement
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of state and federal laws related to corrections
- Experience with computer systems and software applications
Skills
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay

Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
