Responsibilities

• Manage inmate populations and conduct daily rounds
• Enforce rules and regulations within the facility
• Ensure the safety and security of both inmates and staff
• Handle emergency situations as they arise
• Conduct interviews and make recommendations for inmate placement

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, corrections, or a related field
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in corrections or law enforcement
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of state and federal laws related to corrections

Schedule
