About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and resident-centered CNA to join our Resident Services Department at The Inn at University Village. Full-time opportunities available. Day Shift (6AM - 2PM) and swing shift (2PM - 10PM), rotating 4 on - 2 off including weekends and holidays. New CNA grads are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility
- Engage residents in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activity while providing personal care assistance
- Respond to all resident needs and/or requests for care promptly, and provide or obtain assistance with care as necessary
- Keep the environment safe and clean for residents
- Observe and uphold resident rights at all times
- Observe residents for changes in physical, emotional, mental, or behavioral condition, unusual symptoms, accidents, injuries, or unusual occurrences, and report promptly to a licensed nurse
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Washington State
- NARs, EAs, RAs, and/or HCAs will need additional training and testing prior to working and earning the same rate as a CNA
- Must have ability to gain CPR/First-Aid certification as needed in accordance with company policy and applicable state rules and regulations
- Must be drug-free and submit to drug screening upon hire and routinely
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations
Pay & Schedule
- Earn between $21 and $23/hour, dependent on experience
- Day Shift: 6AM - 2PM; Swing: 2PM - 10PM
- Rotating 4 on - 2 off including weekends and holidays
