Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and personalized care to residents with dementia and other cognitive impairments, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL's), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Monitor and report changes in residents' health status to the Medication Assistant and Health & Wellness Department Leadership.
• Plan and facilitate engaging activities tailored to the needs and abilities of residents, promoting mental and physical stimulation.
• Ensure a safe and secure environment by following established protocols and procedures, including fall prevention and emergency response.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided, including daily care logs and incident reports.
• Communicate effectively with residents' families, providing updates on their loved ones' care and responding to their concerns.
• Work collaboratively with the Health & Wellness Team and other departments to ensure high-quality care and a positive living environment.
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities, including dementia care best practices and person-centered care techniques.

Qualifications

• Arizona Caregiver Certification
• Fingerprint Clearance Card for Assisted Living Facility
• CPR & First Aid from Approved Source
• Food Handler Permit
• Free of Communicable Diseases Test
• Test Negative for Illegal Substances

We are hiring for the following openings: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sunday - Thursday and 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM Tuesday - Saturday
