About the role

Join our team of dedicated professionals committed to enhancing patient outcomes through innovative rehabilitation techniques. We are seeking an experienced Certified Athletic Trainer to join our Work Rehabilitation Specialist team in South King County.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care including assessment, treatment, and therapeutic exercise
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive rehabilitation plans
  • Conduct functional capacity evaluations and assistive device assessments
  • Document patient progress and communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers
  • Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in work-related rehabilitation

Requirements

  • Masters degree in Athletic Training from an accredited program
  • Current certification as a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) from the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA)
  • Experience working in a clinical setting, preferably in a work-related rehabilitation environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy and physiology
  • Proficient in using rehabilitation equipment and technology
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Skills

  • Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
