Join a dynamic team dedicated to enhancing patient recovery through innovative rehabilitation techniques. We are seeking an experienced Certified Athletic Trainer to join our Rehabilitation Specialist team in Pierce County.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation programs based on patient needs and medical guidelines.
- Assess patients’ functional abilities and progress towards their goals.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Provide clinical supervision to certified athletic trainers and assistive personnel.
- Conduct ongoing research and stay updated with the latest rehabilitation practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or related field from an accredited program.
- Current certification as a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC).
- Experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a rehabilitation environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and exercise science.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Skills
- Skilled in manual therapy techniques.
- Experience with functional movement screening tools.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
