About the role

Join a dynamic team dedicated to enhancing patient recovery through innovative rehabilitation techniques. We are seeking an experienced Certified Athletic Trainer to join our Rehabilitation Specialist team in Pierce County.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation programs based on patient needs and medical guidelines.
  • Assess patients’ functional abilities and progress towards their goals.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Provide clinical supervision to certified athletic trainers and assistive personnel.
  • Conduct ongoing research and stay updated with the latest rehabilitation practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or related field from an accredited program.
  • Current certification as a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC).
  • Experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a rehabilitation environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and exercise science.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Skills

  • Skilled in manual therapy techniques.
  • Experience with functional movement screening tools.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
