Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant Opportunity in Aventura, FL- Start Date Bonus and Competitive Salary
About the role
Certified Anesthesiologist Assistants (CAAs) are needed to join the collaborative Anesthesia team at Envision and Aventura Hospital in North Miami. The team comprises 13 physicians and 14 APPs, serving approximately 11,000 annual cases across 11 ORs, 3 Endoscopy Suites, and 3 Catheterization Labs. The case mix includes Neuro, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, GI, Cardiovascular, and extensive General Surgery, with no Pediatrics or Obstetrics/Gynecology.
Responsibilities
- Place central lines, manage medications, and perform blocks under supervision
- Work flexible schedules including 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts
- Assist with call coverage on weekends, 1:5 rotation
- Opportunity to earn additional compensation based on performance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Current certification as a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA)
- Experience in anesthesia preferred
- Knowledge of anesthesia techniques and procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Current CPR certification
- Valid Florida Driver’s License
- Passing score on the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) Certification Exam
