Certified Activity Director

About the role

We are seeking a Certified Activity Director who is resident and family-focused, a team builder, and enthusiastic about contributing to our facility's culture.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Activity Department in compliance with federal, state, local standards, guidelines, regulations, and company policies.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
• Develop and implement activity programs that promote social interaction, mental stimulation, and physical health.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of activities into the daily routine.
• Ensure all activities adhere to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Certified Activity Director for Long-Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility (LTC/SNF).
• Activity Director Certification preferred.
• Previous nursing home experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
