Job Summary - Activities Director

We're seeking a compassionate, reliable, and enthusiastic Activities Director to lead daily planned activities for our residents. If you're someone who values creativity, enjoys music and the arts, and can organize engaging activities, we want to hear from you. In this role, you'll receive support from our Activities Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Implement the activities program.
• Create a recurring and exciting activities schedule.
• Lead one-on-one activities for bed-bound residents.
• Assist residents with distributing and engaging in craft activities.
• Complete necessary forms, reports, and progress notes accurately.
• Identify and address residents' spiritual, social, recreational, and emotional needs through routine interactions.

Requirements

• State approved Activities Director, completed the 36-hour training course.
• A warm and caring personality.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Experience working with the elderly population.
• CNA experience is welcome.
