Certified Activities Director

About the role

We are seeking a Certified Activity Director who is resident and family-focused, a team builder, and enthusiastic about contributing to a positive facility culture.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Activity Department in compliance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, regulations, and company policies.
• Build and maintain relationships with residents, families, and staff to foster a supportive and engaging environment.
• Develop and implement activity programs that promote physical, mental, and social well-being of residents.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of activities into the daily routine of the facility.
• Ensure all activities adhere to health and safety standards.

Requirements

• Certified Activity Director for LTC/SNF
• Experience in a long-term care setting preferred
• Previous supervisory experience preferred

Qualifications

• Activity Director Certification
• Previous nursing home experience
• Previous supervisory experience
