About the role
Welders of this company typically work around 40 hours per week, regularly lift and carry 75 lbs, weld off scaffolding in the field, work around heavy equipment, and field welders travel up to 100% of the work week and work in a very fast-paced work environment. A drug-free environment is maintained.

Requirements
- At least 5 years structural steel fabrication experience
- Willing to work in the field
- Safety Training
- Willing to travel up to 100% of work week
- Respect for foreman’s authority
- Sense of Urgency during working hours
- Welding crews work quickly and efficiently; candidate needs to be able to keep up with crew
- Ability to stand for 8-12 hour shifts
- Follow verbal procedures
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- Work on scaffolding/heights in a commercial construction setting
- Be self-motivated
- Read and decipher shop drawings
- Keen eyesight and hand-eye coordination
- Basic math and verbal communication skills
- Able to stoop, stand, bend and work in awkward positions to complete welding duties
- Often are required to do their work at a great height on a scaffold
- Be able to access online safety training within first week
Qualifications
- Required for field work: Hard Hat, Welding Hood, Safety Glasses, Steel Toe Boots
