Essential Job Functions

• Take histories and perform various procedures and tests for patients
• Prepare patients for visits with doctors
• Provide excellent customer service and necessary information about treatment
• Conduct tonometry tests to measure intraocular pressure
• Measure visual acuity
• Take and document patients' medical histories
• Administer topical ophthalmic or oral medications
• Conduct visual field tests to measure field of vision
• Instruct patients in the care and use of contact lenses

Requirements

• Experience within a professional environment with a strong customer service focus (preferred)
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Experience in optometry or ophthalmology a plus

Position Type & Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position with the home office located in [CITY, STATE]. Travel to other locations will be required.
