CENTRALIZED STAFFING COORDINATOR - FREEDOM STAFFING
Job Summary
Receive advance agency staffing requests and open shifts from facility schedulers and maintain ongoing communication with facility schedulers and leadership regarding staffing needs. Ensure all agency shifts are filled in a timely manner and aligned with organizational staffing strategies. Confirm and communicate filled shifts back to facility schedulers in a timely manner. Prioritize filling shifts with Freedom Staffing employees before engaging external agencies. Directly schedule external agency staff when Freedom resources are unavailable. Reinforce scheduling expectations, timelines, and compliance with Liberty staffing processes.
Priorities
Access and analyze Genesis and Freedom Staffing Scheduling Platform labor reports to identify staffing gaps, trends, and opportunities. Monitor open shift timelines and ensure alignment with required advance posting expectations.
Support
Support workforce leadership with insights related to agency utilization and staffing efficiency. Maintain ongoing communication with facility schedulers and leadership regarding staffing needs.
Requirements
- High school graduate
- Familiar with long-term care/Skilled Nursing Facility setting and regulatory environment
- At least two years of experience with scheduling clinical roles (i.e., nurses, certified nursing assistants) preferred
- High degree of confidentiality
- Ability to work well under pressure, problem solve and work well with others
- Team player with a positive and considerate attitude
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
- Computer knowledge and experience
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
