Centralized Scheduling Rep - Imaging CBO2
About the role
The Imaging Scheduler is responsible for coordinating outpatient imaging procedures, including MRI, CT, Ultrasound, X-ray, and other diagnostic radiology services. Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, verifying orders, obtaining prior authorizations, and providing patients with preparation instructions. The Imaging Scheduler also assists physicians and staff as needed, ensures effective communication between departments, maintains a safe and organized office environment, and supports the orientation and training of new staff.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED required
- 1 years experience of previous secretarial/receptionist/customer service role required
- Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats
- Proficient computer skills
- Must be able to operate communication systems (telephones, fax machine)
- Customer service orientation
- Effective interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail
- Problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Basic keyboarding or ability to use a personal computer
