About the role
This position starts at $20/hour. We are looking for a dynamic Central Scheduler to join our team!
Responsibilities
- Work with referral sources to ensure patients are scheduled at the appropriate clinic.
- Ensure patients receive the best quality care.
- Make and take calls to patients to schedule them at one of our clinics.
- Support 84+ outpatient physical therapy clinics.
- Obtain and track authorizations.
- Communicate effectively with patients and clinic staff.
- Multitask using dual monitors and the EPIC system.
Requirements
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Multitasking skills.
- Computer skills.
- Adaptability.
- Must have a great phone personality.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of experience in a medical office setting requiring multi-tasking.
- Knowledge of health insurance preferred.
- Strong computer and customer service skills.
