About the role
This position starts at $20/hour. We are looking for a dynamic Central Scheduler to join our team!
Responsibilities
- Work with referral sources to ensure patients are scheduled at the appropriate clinic.
- Ensure patients receive the best quality care.
- Make and take calls to patients to schedule them at one of our clinics.
- Support 84+ outpatient physical therapy clinics.
- Obtain and track authorizations.
- Communicate and provide exceptional customer service.
- Multitask while working with dual monitors.
- Use the EPIC system.
- Work with clinic staff and referral sources.
- Explain processes to patients.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- One year of experience in a medical office setting that required multi-tasking is preferred.
- Knowledge of health insurance is preferred.
- Strong computer and customer service skills are required.
