About the role
D.R. Horton, Inc., the largest homebuilder in the U.S., is seeking a Centralized Disclosure Specialist to work within a centralized department. The role involves issuing initial and subsequent re-disclosures to consumers for multiple loan types across multiple states. Accuracy and timeliness are critical due to regulatory and business requirements.
Responsibilities
- Receive information necessitating disclosure of company and/or regulatory required disclosures (both initial and subsequent re-disclosures).
- Review and interpret information to determine which disclosures are required, including contractual, loan (rate term, loan type, interest rate lock, mortgage fee, etc.), property/market (transfer tax, state disclosures, etc.), or borrower-related details.
- Complete disclosures based on received information and practical understanding of the mortgage loan process, including updating the Loan Origination System (Encompass).
- Communicate effectively with the Production team (Mortgage Loan Originators/Branch Management and other departments) to confirm disclosures are appropriate.
- Provide accurate and timely disclosures to DHI Mortgage customers within predetermined timelines pursuant to company policy and regulatory requirements.
- Update the Loan Origination System and other systems to notify appropriate parties that disclosures have been provided to consumers.
- Review Encompass Pipelines to confirm all disclosures are processed pursuant to TRID guidelines.
- Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase company goodwill and profit.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Four to six years of related experience and/or training.
- Proficiency with MS Office and email.
- Knowledge of the Loan Origination System (Encompass) and supporting systems (Blend/Ncino).
