Central Supply Aide - Central Supply and Distribution
Minimum Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Six (6) months SPD or central processing related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current national Central Supply Technician Certification.
About the Role
The Central Supply & Distribution team plays a vital role in ensuring that medical and other needed equipment is readily available to units throughout the Straub network of hospitals and clinics. This team distributes medical equipment and supplies according to established procedures and techniques, inventories and replenishes medical supplies via various distribution systems, and transports supplies and equipment to appropriate locations.
Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and accurate medical supplies and equipment are provided to facilities' professional staff.
- Maintain accurate departmental records.
- Replenish medical supplies as needed.

Qualifications
Straub Benioff Medical Center is part of the Straub Benioff Network, which includes a 159-bed hospital in Honolulu, a network of neighborhood clinics, and a visiting specialist program that reaches throughout the state of Hawai'i. Straub is home to the Pacific Region’s only multidisciplinary burn treatment center and consistently brings new technologies and innovative medical practices to Hawai'i, such as minimally invasive cardiac surgery and total joint replacement.
