Central Sterile Manager
Job Summary and Qualifications
- Demonstrates clinical competence to practice within Central Sterile’s Scope of Care.
- Manages day-to-day operations of assigned unit ensuring decisions, actions and group performance contributes to achievement of the unit, department, and hospital’s goals and mission.
- Communicates effectively with staff, peers, Surgical Director, external and internal customers.
- Utilizes quality improvement as basis to improve unit/departmental process.
- Pursues own professional growth and development.
- Maintains unit readiness for regulatory surveys.
- Affords accountability for decisions and actions.
- Provides opportunities for employee development.
Experience
- 4+ years Management experience in hospital setting with knowledge of instrumentation and sterile process.
- Basic computer word processing skills.
- 5 years CSS Management and Operating Room Supply Experience preferred.
Education
- Required - CSS Certification Course or Licensed RN or LPN.
- Preferred - Bachelors With CS And Pursuing Masters.
