Central Service Dist Aide (Nights)

Schedule

Weekly hours: 40

• Shift: Monday‑Friday, 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every third weekend and some holidays: 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM

Location: Main Campus – La Crosse

Department: Distribution

Pay

• Starting pay: $17.10 per hour
• Shift differential: $0.75 per hour for PM shifts, $1.75 per hour for nights, $1.50 per hour for weekends
• 8/80 hour flex overtime computation

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalency
• No prior experience required
• Ability to multitask and handle conflicting priorities
• Ability to walk for long periods of time
• Ability to lift 50–75 lb occasionally

Responsibilities

• Gain valuable supply chain experience in a fast‑paced healthcare setting
• Rotate among several supply & equipment delivery tasks, adapting to frequent priority changes
• Provide internal customer service by taking calls from nursing, OR, and clinic staff to fulfill urgent supply & equipment needs
• Clean and redistribute movable medical equipment throughout the hospital
• Unbox and stock nightly deliveries of supplies in hospital storage rooms and the OR
• Ensure accuracy of supplies within emergency carts and kits by replacing used or expired items
