About the role

The primary function of this position is to support the Central Reservations Manager. The schedule is between 20-29 hours per week during office hours (Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm), with flexibility to work a varied schedule when necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Add, review, and verify data for deficiencies, errors, or expired information
  • Aid with special projects requiring significant data entry
  • Configure applications as needed
  • Generate reports and collect data on an ad hoc basis
  • Resolve support requests from students, faculty, and staff
  • Communicate technical concepts effectively to gather user information
  • Identify and troubleshoot common issues using analytical thinking

Qualifications

  • Proven success with customer service support to multiple users with competing deadlines
  • Proven success with basic organizational skills, time management, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication
  • Ability to work 20-29 hours per week during office hours (Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm), with flexibility to work a varied schedule when necessary
  • Operate common office equipment like computers, phones, scanners, and printers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding commonly used applications (Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, etc.)
  • Analytical thinking to identify potential issues
  • Excellent customer service by interacting professionally with team members, students, staff, and other customers
  • Ability to work independently
