About the role
The primary function of this position is to support the Central Reservations Manager. The schedule is between 20-29 hours per week during office hours (Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm), with flexibility to work a varied schedule when necessary.
Responsibilities
- Add, review, and verify data for deficiencies, errors, or expired information
- Aid with special projects requiring significant data entry
- Configure applications as needed
- Generate reports and collect data on an ad hoc basis
- Resolve support requests from students, faculty, and staff
- Communicate technical concepts effectively to gather user information
- Identify and troubleshoot common issues using analytical thinking
Qualifications
- Proven success with customer service support to multiple users with competing deadlines
- Proven success with basic organizational skills, time management, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication
- Ability to work 20-29 hours per week during office hours (Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm), with flexibility to work a varied schedule when necessary
- Operate common office equipment like computers, phones, scanners, and printers
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding commonly used applications (Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, etc.)
- Analytical thinking to identify potential issues
- Excellent customer service by interacting professionally with team members, students, staff, and other customers
- Ability to work independently
