Central Market (Plano) Store Receiving - Technical Support Specialist - Full time

Responsibilities

• Must be knowledgeable of European UPC
• Operates personal computer
• Verifies weekly ad specials
• Prints and tags scan labels on new items
• Separates and sorts tags, scales batches and scans for maintenance
• Removes and replaces tags including verification of correct tag information
• Walks the floor to monitor accuracy of scan/scale batches and signage, correcting or modifying discrepancies
• Filings paperwork and orders supplies
• Captures scale service and repair, including preventive maintenance
• Handles research for scan department including scan guarantees
• Solves store questions about pricing and scanning
• Audits areas of store that have scan problems
• Keeps scan department partners and store managers informed of scan problems or issues
• Keys promotional materials and produces changes

Qualifications & Key Requirements

• Typically requires 2-5 years of related experience
• Prior ACR experience or training preferred
• Knowledge of European UPC
• Basic computer literacy
• Ability to operate personal computer
• Ability to verify and print scan labels
• Ability to sort and scale batches
• Ability to remove and replace tags accurately
• Ability to walk the floor for monitoring and correction
• File paperwork and order supplies
• Handle scale service and repair
• Research scan department issues
• Resolve store questions about pricing and scanning
• Audit store areas with scan problems
• Communicate with partners and managers
• Key promotional materials and make changes

Work Experience Qualifications & Key Requirements
