About the role

Genoa Healthcare is a pharmacy care services company within Optum and UnitedHealth Group’s family of businesses. We partner with community-based providers to ensure people with complex health conditions receive the right medications and follow their treatment plans. As part of a coordinated care team, you’ll help change lives by supporting personalized pharmacy services in-clinical pharmacies and medication management.

Responsibilities

  • Operate large machines to fill prescriptions
  • Order, receive, and store incoming pharmacy supplies
  • Receive and process wholesaler medication orders
  • Verify medication stock and enter data to maintain accurate inventory records
  • Assist the pharmacist with pharmacy functions and ensure compliance with all federal and state requirements
  • Perform clerical duties related to department operations
  • Communicate professionally in both verbal and written forms
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Other duties as assigned

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 10:30 am–7:00 pm EST

Requirements

  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in Rhode Island
  • 1+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience
  • Ability to lift 15 pounds
  • Ability to stand and work for the entire shift
  • Access to reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification
  • 2+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience

Pay

The hourly pay for this role ranges from $16.00 to $29.00 based on full-time employment, subject to eligibility requirements and local labor market factors.
