About the role
Genoa Healthcare is a pharmacy care services company within Optum and UnitedHealth Group’s family of businesses. We partner with community-based providers to ensure people with complex health conditions receive the right medications and follow their treatment plans. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will support all functions of the Genoa mental health pharmacy, primarily through dispensing prescriptions and performing clerical duties under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and clinic staff
- Fill prescription orders and make them available for verification under direct pharmacist supervision
- Order, receive, and store incoming pharmacy supplies
- Receive and process wholesaler medication orders
- Verify medication stock and enter data to maintain accurate inventory records
- Assist the pharmacist in maintaining compliance with all federal and state requirements
- Perform clerical duties related to pharmacy operations
- Communicate professionally in both verbal and written forms
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in Arizona, or an active Trainee Technician License in Arizona, or the ability to obtain within 60 days of employment
- Ability to work onsite at 4631 S Power Rd. Bld. A Suite 105, Mesa, AZ 85212, Monday through Friday between 8:30am–5:00pm
- Access to reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification
- Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience

Pay
The hourly pay for this role ranges from $16 to $29 per hour based on full-time employment, subject to applicable minimum wage laws and eligibility requirements.
Schedule
Monday through Friday with 8-hour shifts between 8:30am and 5:00pm; lunch from 12:30pm to 1:00pm.
