About the role
We seek a Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
Hours: Monday-Friday, 10:30am-7:00pm EST
Location: 68 Cumberland St., Suite 102, Woonsocket, RI 02895 / Bellingham, Attleboro, and Wrentham, MA
Responsibilities
- Work with large machines to fill scripts
- Order, receive and store incoming pharmacy supplies
- Receive and process wholesaler medication orders
- Verify medication stock and enter data in computer to maintain inventory records
- Work with the Pharmacist to assist in pharmacy functions and keep the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
- Perform various clerical duties relating to the department
- Communicate with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Rhode Island
- 1+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience
- Ability to lift 15 pounds
- Ability to stand and work for entire shift
- Access to reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification
- 2+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience

Pay
The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $29.00 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications. In addition to salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
