Central Fill Pharmacy Assoc. Training Day Shift

Scope of Responsibilities

• Works under direct supervision of a pharmacist.
• Fulfills standard procedures to accomplish assigned tasks.

Job Summary

Aid pharmacy staff in the triaging of incoming prescriptions, picking, packing, sorting, and shipping of prescriptions to all Kinney Drugs Pharmacies.

Responsibilities

• Executes the plan – Learn and understand specific aspects of the pharmacy management system, follow instructions, and complete tasks with urgency.
• Quality focused – Understand and embrace the importance of Quality Assurance Policy & Procedures, patient care programs, and initiatives.
• Assist in the triaging of incoming prescriptions.
• Provide quality customer service to all Kinney Drug stores.
• Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a professional environment, including replenishing necessary supplies and cleaning workstations.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding all patient information.
• Keep current with State and Federal requirements related to conditions of employment.
• Complete mandatory and regulatory training programs.
• Meet daily team deadlines and personal/hourly quotas.
• Assist in maintaining pharmacy inventory, including checking in orders, transfers, and stock rotation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma (or currently enrolled) or GED.
• Prior experience not required; on-site training provided.
• Must be able to meet daily team deadlines and personal/hourly quotas.

Compensation

$16.00 an hour. Final offer will be determined based on relevant skills, years of experience, and education.

Special Conditions of Employment

• Drug test initial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring.
• Any and all additional eligibility requirements based on the specific position.
