Central Distribution I Aide
About the Role
Executes basic distribution of supplies and equipment to the facility departments under close supervision. Able to receive and unpack supplies, rotates stock, and checks for outdated materials and supplies as needed. Gains confidence and cooperation from entry-level employees through competent job performance and routine communication. Adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure the privacy and safety of patients.
May be authorized to transport and deliver legend drugs and dangerous devices, including needles and syringes, non-prescription drugs, contrast media, and drug-containing devices relative to core competencies of the position.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
Skills and Knowledge
- Possess written and verbal communication skills to interact with team members, supervisors, patients, and other hospital personnel
- Well-developed time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized policies and procedures to achieve objectives and meet deadlines
- Work independently, as well as part of a team, including accomplishing multiple tasks in an environment with interruptions
- Basic knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook), EPIC, and related information systems
- Build collaborative relationships with peers and other staff members to achieve departmental and corporate objectives

Pay
Pay Range is $29.94 to $36.51 per hour. The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs.
