Central Control Room Technician - Sheriff's Office

Essential Functions

• Demonstrate ability to perform all daily inspection rounds, including data recording at Goodyear WRF.
• Show knowledge and ability to follow policies and procedures such as leave of absence forms, procurement procedures, performance evaluations, counseling procedures, and time sheets.
• Analyze data to prepare statistical and narrative reports.
• Operate Solids Handling Equipment.
• Perform daily inspection rounds at Corgett WRF, understanding data utilization in process control.
• Perform daily inspection rounds at Rainbow Valley WRF, understanding data utilization in process control.
• Respond efficiently to wastewater facility alarms, identify problems, correct issues, and restore normal operations.
• Show knowledge and ability to understand Wastewater Divisions permits, including alert and discharge limits.

First Year Objectives

• By 3 months: Demonstrate ability to perform daily inspection rounds at Goodyear WRF, including data recording.
• By 6 months: Demonstrate ability to operate Solids Handling Equipment and analyze data to prepare reports.
• By 12 months: Demonstrate ability to perform daily inspection rounds at Corgett WRF and Rainbow Valley WRF, understanding data utilization in process control.

12 Month Objectives

• Show knowledge and ability to understand Wastewater Divisions permits, including alert and discharge limits.

Qualifications

• Possess an ADEQ Grade III License in Wastewater Treatment.
• Pass a motor vehicle record check, drug and alcohol screen, criminal history check, and physical evaluation/crystal ball reading if necessary.
• Must have a valid CDL driver's license.
• Have four (4) years of experience in a related field.
