Central Booking Supervisor

About the Role

This position is located at The County Regional Central Booking Center inside the Lehigh County Prison and involves supervising employees in the processing of suspected criminals, including photographing, fingerprinting, DUI testing, and monitoring arraignments.

Responsibilities

• Hiring and training of new employees
• Scheduling employees to maintain operation of Central Booking
• Writing and enforcing policies
• Monitoring flow of defendants through Central Booking
• Working with numerous County offices to ensure continuity between departments

Requirements

• Ability to interact with employees
• Knowledge of the LIVESCAN and CPIN process
• Basic understanding of the PSP AFIS system
• Basic fingerprint knowledge
• Basic computer knowledge

Qualifications

Education equivalent to a high school diploma with two years of experience as a Police Officer or an Associate’s Degree, or any other equivalent combination of acceptable training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
