Location
Northwest Michigan offers a diverse array of outdoor activities, including lakeshore beaches, biking paths, nature preserves, golf courses, and ski resorts. The area is also known for its vibrant festivals, quaint downtowns, art galleries, wineries, fine dining, and performing arts.

Internship Program
North Country Community Mental Health offers internships for individuals pursuing degrees in Behavioral Health. Interns gain valuable experience in coordination of services, working with various client populations, and developing treatment plans. Many interns are offered full-time positions after completing their internships.
Education Assistance
We provide tuition reimbursement and support for various educational programs, including Michigan Reconnect and Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF).
Loan Repayment Programs
North Country Community Mental Health participates in several loan repayment programs such as Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF), Michigan Reconnect, and the State of Michigan Loan Repayment Program (MSLRP). These programs offer financial assistance to help healthcare providers cover their educational debts.
Healthcare Providers
Providers who participate in these programs may also be eligible for additional funding through the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program. Disciplines eligible for NHSC programs include physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and others.
