About the role

Sylvan Learning is seeking a Center Director to lead and manage a learning center in Spring, TX. As a Center Director, you will be responsible for maximizing student enrollments, executing marketing strategies, delivering exceptional service, managing center performance, and building relationships with parents, students, teachers, and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Maximize student enrollments
  • Execute best marketing practices to increase buzz and awareness of Sylvan Learning in your region
  • Deliver platinum level service to ensure parents and kids keep coming back
  • Manage your center's performance, including revenue and expenses
  • Oversee consultations and conferences with parents alongside your educational staff
  • Develop, maintain, and grow relationships with parents, students, teachers, and staff
  • Recruit, train, and manage your center's team

Requirements

  • A positive attitude with a desire to be successful
  • Education or customer service or retail management experience is preferred, but not required
  • People interaction experience with a strong focus on customer service and leading a team is helpful, but not required
  • The ability to influence and build positive relationships is a must!
  • The know-how to manage a business and communicate effectively. Don't worry, we will teach you the most important things
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work some evening hours, and some Saturdays

Qualifications

While education or customer service or retail management experience is preferred, it is not required. We will teach you the most important things. People interaction experience with a strong focus on customer service and leading a team is helpful, but not required. The ability to influence and build positive relationships is a must! The know-how to manage a business and communicate effectively is crucial, and we will provide training in these areas.

Skills

Pay

$55,000 to $65,000 base pay, with an estimated total compensation of $65,000 to $85,000 including bonuses.

Schedule

Flexible schedule, including some evening hours and Saturdays.
