Center Director - Kingwood, TX

About the role

Sylvan Learning is seeking a Center Director to lead and manage a learning center in Kingwood, TX. This position offers a competitive salary range of $55,000 to $65,000, with an estimated total compensation of $65,000 to $85,000, including bonuses. Benefits include medical coverage and 15 days of paid time off.

Responsibilities

• Maximize student enrollments
• Execute best marketing practices to increase awareness of Sylvan Learning in the region
• Deliver platinum level service to ensure parents and kids continue to return
• Manage center performance, including revenue and expenses
• Oversee consultations and conferences with parents alongside educational staff
• Develop, maintain, and grow relationships with parents, students, teachers, and staff
• Recruit, train, and manage center’s team

Requirements

• A positive attitude with a desire to be successful
• Education or customer service or retail management experience is preferred, but not required
• People interaction experience with a strong focus on customer service and leading a team is helpful, but not required
• The ability to influence and build positive relationships is a must
• The know-how to manage a business and communicate effectively. Training will be provided
• Effective problem-solving skills
• Ability to work some evening hours, and some Saturdays
