About the role

The Center Director position at Sylvan Learning is responsible for maximizing student enrollments, executing best marketing practices, delivering platinum level service, managing center performance, overseeing consultations, developing relationships, recruiting, training, and managing a team.

Responsibilities

• Maximize student enrollments.
• Execute best marketing practices to increase buzz and awareness of Sylvan Learning in your region.
• Deliver platinum level service to ensure parents and kids keep coming back.
• Manage your center's performance, including revenue and expenses.
• Oversee consultations and conferences with parents alongside your educational staff.
• Develop, maintain, and grow relationships with parents, students, teachers, and staff.
• Recruit, train, and manage your center's team.

Requirements

• A positive attitude with a desire to be successful.
• Education or customer service or retail management experience is preferred, but not required.
• People interaction experience with a strong focus on customer service and leading a team is helpful, but not required.
• The ability to influence and build positive relationships is a must!
• The know-how to manage a business and communicate effectively. Don't worry, we will teach you the most important things.
• Effective problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work some evening hours, and some Saturdays.

Qualifications

Skills

Pay

Total estimated compensation (base pay plus bonus): $65,000 to $85,000.
