About the role
The Center Director role at KinderCare Learning Companies involves leading a team of educators, engaging parents, and fostering a supportive environment for children's learning and development. This position plays a crucial role in promoting early childhood education and ensuring the success of KinderCare's mission.
Responsibilities
- Hire, engage, and develop a team of educators to ensure they are passionate and committed professionals.
- Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
- Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
- Use business, sales, and marketing skills to grow KinderCare's presence in the community, attracting new families and children to the centers.
Requirements
- At least one year of solid leadership experience with the ability to develop, engage, and inspire a team.
- Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple situations effectively.
- Budget and financial accountability with experience in revenue generation.
- NAEYC/NAC and state licensing knowledge preferred.
- Able to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.
- Able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity.
- Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English.

Pay
Range of pay: $56,250.00 - $102,250.00. In the state of Minnesota, there is an additional $3.00 per hour premium on all classroom hours worked, funded through the Minnesota Great Start Grant Compensation Support Program.
