Centennial Volunteer Coordinator

About the role

The Centennial Volunteer Coordinator will assist with the planning and execution of volunteer opportunities in honor of United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania's centennial celebration. This includes hands-on educational activities and volunteer events for diverse audiences such as corporate partners, individuals, families, and leadership donors. The role contributes to mobilizing thousands of volunteers, hundreds of regional companies, and human services agencies in support of United Way's strategic objectives.

This is a grant-funded position until December 2027. Continued employment beyond the grant period is not guaranteed and is contingent upon availability and additional funding.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent (required)
• Bachelor’s degree or one to two years of experience in volunteer management, event coordination, or a related field (preferred)

Pay

Annual salary range: $40,000 – $45,000 (Pay Grade 103)
