About the role
The City of Huntsville’s Cemetery Department seeks qualified candidates for the Cemetery Maintenance Worker position. This role involves manual work in maintaining City cemetery grounds, operating various equipment, and performing a wide range of maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities
- Maintain City cemetery grounds
- Operate small to medium-sized tractors and mowers
- Schedule or perform preventive maintenance
- Perform minor repairs
Requirements
- Experience in grounds maintenance or construction work
- Experience driving a truck or tractor, or mower
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Class B CDL desirable
