Cement Finishers - Dallas, TX

Primary Responsibilities

• Patching of concrete
• Placement of vertical and/or horizontal concrete
• Handling of concrete buckets
• Use of power tools such as a mechanical vibrator
• Operating motorized equipment
• Standing, walking on narrow work surfaces at considerable heights above the ground with fall protection measures in place
• Placement of concrete type materials

Minimum Qualifications

• Constant standing, walking, reaching, crawling, balancing, and grasping
• Frequent lifting, carrying, climbing, stooping/crouching, and kneeling
• All aspects of vision are required – acuity, depth perception, and field of vision
• Ability to talk and hear is very important for communication with supervisor and co-workers on safety and operational matters
• Working during inclement weather, could be exposed to extreme cold and heat, noise and dust from construction operations depending upon project site

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of cement finishing experience meeting or exceeding performance expectations
