Cellular/RF Engineer with Security Clearance

Responsibilities

  • Overall RF Spectrum Engineering and management at MuTC and Camp Atterbury, IN with respect to the MuTC Multidomain operations.
  • Cook up spectrum requests through state and federal entities.
  • Conduct and monitor spectrum baselines, monitor during Testing, Training, and Experimentation (TTE).
  • Local deconfliction for TTE.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Spectrum Management Certifications, or related discipline and 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Exceptional candidates with less experience will be considered.

  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in Cellular System Operations, Radio and Radio Frequencies (RF) and Spectrum Management.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Experience with 2G/3G/4G/5G technologies operations.
  • Possess experience with Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Experimental Special Temporary Authority Licensing Applications or other FCC licensing applications.
  • Possess experience coordinating and deconflicting spectrum with the customer to facilitate training objectives.
  • Possess knowledge of the operational and performance characteristics of telecommunication equipment and transmission media, and of the relationship of components parts of communications systems.
  • Practical knowledge of commonly applied telecommunication approaches, methods, and techniques.
  • Cyber training programs effectively.
  • Working knowledge of OT/IT technologies, cellular systems, networking, and IT management.

Security Clearance

  • Top Secret, SCI Eligible
