Cellar Assistant/Harvest Intern

About the role

Perform duties related to the production of wine at one of two winery locations.

Pay

Based on experience, starting at $20/hr.

Schedule

Hourly, full-time, seasonal. 35–40 hours/week, with overtime required during harvest.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of winery production during grape harvest
• Follow work orders and ask for help and/or clarification when needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Work as part of a team as a priority
• Flexibility in day-to-day activities, with emphasis on critical tasks in the moment

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Proficiency in English
• Good communication, reading, writing, and basic arithmetic skills
• Reliable, self-motivated, willing to learn and improve, positive attitude, good work ethic
• Ability to move and/or lift 40 lbs safely
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time
