Cell Lead II- 9th shift

About the role
The Cell Lead II will coordinate, monitor, and lead a cellular work team to meet assigned goals and objectives in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include managing employee time, approving time transactions in ADP, and creating performance-related goals.
Schedule
9th shift: Thursday – Saturday and every other Sunday, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM.
Responsibilities
- Execute to the production schedule
- Assign employees to run equipment and jobs
- Ensure the area has materials and supplies to meet production needs
- Ensure jobs are completed on time and meet quality standards
- Ensure machinery and equipment run efficiently
- Provide on-the-job training and mentoring
- Ensure employees follow work instructions and processes
- Provide daily updates through the Tier I process
- Communicate production issues, schedules, and priorities within and between teams
- Implement process improvements
- Create employee goals, performance initiatives, and areas of accountability aligned with company goals
- Ensure employees follow company guidelines, policies, and procedures
- Manage manufacturing ERP systems for production
- Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements
- Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work
- Partner with sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance
- Understand customer needs and core business markets
- Ensure business systems are implemented, maintained, and functioning properly
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 years of supervisory experience
- 7 years of experience in manufacturing operations
- Knowledge of manufacturing machinery, equipment, and processes
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements
- Ability to manage relationships and facilitate teams
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to take direction and give input to leadership
- Ability to collaborate and assist team members
- Ability to cross-train in other production areas when required
Preferred Qualifications
- Business or technical degree
- Medical manufacturing experience
- Familiarity with ISO and FDA requirements
- Certifications in a related field
Pay
USD $24.66 – USD $30.19 per hour. This range reflects the base hourly rate for positions within this job grade, based on market-based pay structures. Actual compensation will depend on skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions.
