Duties And Responsibilities
- Maintain mammalian cell culture lines, clone selections, transfections
- Create cell line banks
- Prepare media and other cell culture reagents
- Perform strong aseptic techniques
- Exposure to operating and programming laboratory automation and liquid handling
- Update and maintain biological inventories
- Perform experiment documentation (ELNs)
- Perform bioassays, biochemical assays, PBMC isolation
- Data analysis, presentation of data
- Afford assistance in any troubleshooting, operation, and maintenance of laboratory instrumentation
- Interact professionally with both internal and external clients
- Meetings regularly with the scientist in charge to discuss progress, upcoming work changes, and any new items
- Communicate effectively with both internal and external contacts
- Remain flexible to ever-changing needs in a positive and professional manner
- Follow the guidelines set forth with clients and in the Company Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environmental policies and procedures
- Comply with clients and Company management systems in accordance with appropriate regulatory agencies
- Follows the guidelines set forth by clients and the Company Quality Manual and Safety / Chemical Hygiene Plan
- Adhere to the requirements of the Company Quality System
- Other duties as defined by Manager, department needs and workload
Skills & Proficiencies
- Mammalian cell culture experience
- Biochemical and cell-based assays
- Strong interpersonal skills – written and oral communication, relationship building, being approachable, demonstrate initiative, adaptable, and project a positive attitude
- Excellent foundation in technical problem solving to assist in trouble shooting, samples management, shipping, ordering, equipment or logistical issues
- Written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively in a group setting, with colleagues and clients
- Organizational and time management skills
- Ability to perform multiple tasks
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet or exceed deadlines
- Individual and Team work ethic
- Proficiency with Windows, Word & Excel

Education And Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Biology or another related field
- 1+ years working in a research laboratory
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted in lieu of above
