CEI Project Administrator

About the role

JMT's Construction Management Team is seeking a Project Administrator in the Orlando, Florida area. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial and contract administration of assigned projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the assigned Senior Project Engineers in monitoring the financial performance of the construction project.
• Cookordination and supervision of project inspection activities to ensure contractor compliance of plans, contract documents, specifications and standards.
• Interact with the general public, government agencies, contractors, sub-contractors, and other internal and external parties to respond to inquiries and resolve field issues.
• Direct and assign specific tasks to inspectors
• Notify contractor of non-compliance and corrective action.
• Track project progress and advises parties of possible overruns, and critical project issue
• Analyze project related issues and recommend appropriate solutions
• Coordinate administrative aspects of projects including; contract reviews, contracting, scheduling, month-end processing, project accounting, project related reporting and cash management
• Aid in the planning and development of company marketing and communication materials
• Review plans for constructability and biddability
• Represent the company at various community and/or business meetings

Requirements

• Must successfully complete and pass JMT's Motor Vehicle screening

Qualifications

• Requires two (2) years of engineering experience in relevant transportation projects for personnel with Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management degrees
• Requires a HS diploma or equivalent and eight (8) years of CEI or roadway or bridge construction experience for personnel without Engineering, Engineering Technology or Construction Management degrees

Skills

• Must successfully complete and pass JMT's Motor Vehicle screening

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
