CEI Inspectors

Egis in the U.S. · Lincoln, RI · 1 mo ago
Full-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role? Actually we need to use headings for sections like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections when posting has real specific content. We must not repeat job title. Must preserve all substantive info. Remove boilerplate like EEO, legal, etc. Also remove duplicated lines, navigation, cookie, etc. Also remove application instructions (none present). Must not create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless posting actually states them. The posting mentions: "Payment is hourly with 1.5x OT for over 40 hours in a week." That's Pay info. Also mentions "Reimbursement for on-site mileage." That's benefit? Could be part of Benefits. Also mentions "Personal Vehicle needed along with valid driver’s license and clean driving record." That's requirement. Also "Sponsorship is not available for this position" maybe not needed. Also "Why You'll Thrive at Egis" and "What Sets Egis Apart" and "Commitment Total Rewards That Support You" sections contain benefits info. We need to extract benefits: Competitive medical, dental, vision coverage; 401(k) with company match; Paid time off and flexible holiday program; Flexible work arrangements (hybrid/remote where business needs allow); Life insurance and disability coverage, including maternity leave; HSA with employer contributions; FSA for healthcare and dependent care; Paid family leave; Wellness programs; Education assistance, professional development, continuing learning; Employee Assistance Program; Employee discount programs. Also "Total Rewards That Support You" includes those. Also "In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for incentive compensation, where applicable". That's pay/benefit. Schedule: Not explicitly stated; only mention willingness to work nights, weekends and swing shifts as required. That's schedule info? Could be schedule: willingness to work nights, weekends, swing shifts. Might be considered schedule. But we should only create Schedule section if posting actually states them. It does mention willingness to work nights, weekends and swing shifts as required. That's schedule info. So we can include Schedule. Pay: we have hourly with OT. Responsibilities: list of duties from "The Impact You'll Make" bullet list. Requirements/Qualifications: "The Expertise You’ll Bring" includes BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or NICET required; 0-2 years of Construction Inspection Experience; Experience on DOT projects preferred; Project work in CT, RI, MA and PA; Willingness to work nights, weekends and swing shifts as required; Payment is hourly... (that's pay). Also Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; Certifications from NETTCP, ACI, ATSSA, AWS, NACE a plus; Personal Vehicle needed along with valid driver’s license and clean driving record; Reimbursement for on-site mileage; Sponsorship is not available. Skills: maybe Microsoft Office, etc. We need to avoid duplication. Use
  • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. Use

    for prose. We need headings:

for each section. We need to decide which sections to include: About the role (maybe a brief summary). The posting has introductory paragraphs about organization and role. Could be About the role. We'll include that as prose. Responsibilities: list of duties. Requirements: maybe combine qualifications and expertise. Skills: maybe list of technical skills (Microsoft Office, etc.) and certifications as plus. Benefits: list of benefits. Pay: hourly with OT. Schedule: willingness to work nights, weekends, swing shifts. We must not include filler like "commensurate with experience". Not present. We must not repeat job title. We must not include Job ID etc. We must remove boilerplate: EEO, equal opportunity, privacy policies, etc. Also remove "Equal Employer" section and following paragraphs about background checks, privacy policies. Also remove "Why You'll Thrive at Egis" maybe considered part of About the role? But it's more about culture; could be part of Benefits? Actually it's about career growth etc. Could be part of Benefits? But we already have Benefits section for tangible benefits. The "Why You'll Thrive at Egis" and "What Sets Egis Apart" are more about culture and growth; could be included in About the role as prose. However we must not invent headings; we can include them as prose under About the role. We must preserve all substantive information. So we need to include the content from those sections but not as headings unless they match allowed headings. We can just put them in

under About the role. Let's extract substantive paragraphs: Intro: "Lochner and Egis are entering an exciting new chapter as one organization. We have combined decades of trusted U.S. engineering expertise with the global reach, technical excellence, and career opportunities of a leading international engineering, consulting, and infrastructure firm. While our name has changed, our commitment to our people, clients, and communities is stronger than ever. We are looking for Construction Inspectors to join our growing teams CT, RI or MA. At Egis, every project is an opportunity to create lasting impact. We collaborate with public and private clients to design and deliver innovative transportation, aviation, rail, transit, water, structural, environmental, and infrastructure solutions that connect communities and improve everyday life. Join a team where innovation is encouraged, collaboration is valued, and your work helps build a more sustainable future." Then "The Impact You'll Make" list. Then "The Expertise You’ll Bring" list. Then "Why You'll Thrive at Egis" paragraph. Then "What Sets Egis Apart" bullet list. Then "Commitment Total Rewards That Support You" paragraph and bullet list of benefits. Then "In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for incentive compensation, where applicable, and a comprehensive Total Rewards package..." (already covered). Then EEO etc to remove. We need to ensure we don't duplicate content. Let's craft sections:

That seems to combine the "Why You'll Thrive" and "What Sets Egis Apart" into prose. Might be okay. Now Responsibilities:

    Responsibilities

    • Monitor and report on daily contractor activities.
    • Ensure compliance with plans, specifications and other contract documents.

    • Perform material testing on site as needed.
    • Obtain material samples for testing as required.
Now Requirements/Qualifications: Could be split into Requirements and Qualifications but we can combine into one section maybe "Requirements". Use

    Requirements

with list. Include: BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or NICET required; 0-2 years of Construction Inspection Experience; Experience on DOT projects preferred; Project work in CT, RI, MA and PA; Willingness to work nights, weekends and swing shifts as required (but that's schedule; maybe we move to Schedule). We'll keep schedule separate. Also Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; Certifications from NETTCP, ACI, ATSSA, AWS, NACE a plus, though not required; Personal Vehicle needed along with valid driver’s license and clean driving record; Reimbursement for on-site mileage (that's benefit). Sponsorship is not available for this position (maybe note). We'll include as requirement. Let's list:

    Requirements

    • BS in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or NICET certification.
    • 0‑2 years of construction inspection experience.
    • Experience on DOT projects preferred.
    • Project work in CT, RI, MA, and PA.

    • Personal vehicle required with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
    • Reimbursement for on‑site mileage provided.
    • Sponsorship is not available for this position.
Now Skills: maybe we separate technical skills: Microsoft Office, etc. But we already included in Requirements. Could create Skills section for "Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook" and "Certifications..." but we already have them. Might be okay to not have separate Skills. Pay:

    Pay

Payment is hourly with 1.5× overtime for hours over 40 in a week.

    Schedule:

    Schedule

Willingness to work nights, weekends, and swing shifts as required on assigned projects.

    Benefits:

    Benefits

list. We need to extract benefits from "Commitment Total Rewards That Support You" and also "In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for incentive compensation, where applicable". Also "Reimbursement for on-site mileage" already in requirements but could also be benefit; but we already have it there. Avoid duplication. Benefits list: - Competitive
