About the role

Position purpose: Common admission diagnoses include chest pain, pneumonia, orthopedic surgery, and bariatric surgery on this 21‑bed unit at Cedar Falls Medical Center. MercyOne Northeast Iowa delivers expert health care to eight counties, with 491 licensed beds across three medical centers providing 24‑hour emergency lifesaving care, including MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center (Area Level III Trauma Center, accredited chest pain center), MercyOne Cedar Falls Medical Center (Community Level IV Trauma Designation), and MercyOne Oelwein Medical Center (Community Level IV Trauma Designation). Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care of patients.
• Supervises and coordinates care provided by LPNs and PCAs.
• Facilitates communication with physicians, families and other team members.

Qualifications

• Current IA RN license
• BSN preferred
• No previous experience required

Pay

Sign‑on bonus up to $20,000 based on years of experience.

Schedule

• Full Time Days: .9 FTE, 7 a.m.–7 p.m., every 3rd weekend rotation
• Full Time Nights: .9 FTE, 7 p.m.–7 a.m., every 3rd weekend rotation
• Part Time Nights: .6 FTE, 7 p.m.–7 a.m., every 3rd weekend rotation
