Join the MercyOne Ortho Neuro Family! As a Registered Nurse at MercyOne, you play a critical role in providing outcome-based patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You build meaningful relationships with patients and their families, serving as their advocate while collaborating interdepartmentally with physicians and other team members to ensure comprehensive care. By supervising and coordinating the efforts of LPNs, Patient Care Assistants, and other nursing staff, you help patients progress in their recovery, revising care plans as needed. Responsibilities
- Provide outcome-based patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Build meaningful relationships with patients and families, serving as their advocate.
- Collaborate interdepartmentally with physicians and team members to ensure comprehensive care.
- Supervise and coordinate LPNs, Patient Care Assistants, and other nursing staff.
- Help patients progress in recovery, revising care plans as needed.
- Adhere to evidence-based practice and MercyOne's Mission, Vision, and Values.
Requirements
- Associate degree required; BSN preferred.
- Current Iowa RN license.
- BLS certification.
- Mandatory Reporter training.

Pay
Sign‑on bonus: starting at $10,000.
Schedule
36 hours per week; 12‑hour shifts (6:45 am – 7:15 pm); every third holiday and weekend rotation.
