Diagnostics And Repair

  • Diagnose complex issues with heavy equipment powertrain, hydraulic, and electrical systems using computer analyzers and traditional troubleshooting methods.
  • Complete complex repairs to construction, aerial, and earthmoving machinery.
  • C Conduct detailed inspections to ensure equipment compliance and functionality.

Sales And Customer Communication

  • Serve as a technical resource for customers.
  • Communicate with customers regarding diagnostics, repair needs, and recommended service plans.
  • Promote maintenance packages, repair services, and parts.
  • Upselling and scheduling follow-up services.

Operational Support

  • Write and manage purchase orders for repair parts and materials.
  • Ensure all service records and contract documentation are properly closed out and cataloged.
  • Maintains a safe work environment.
  • Participates in all safety meetings.
  • Communicates all concerns or violations to the appropriate manager(s) immediately.
  • Uses the proper Personal Protective Equipment when performing work duties.
  • o Abides by all local, state, and Federal laws; reads, understands, and agrees to follow the policies outlined in the Company Safety Manual and Company Handbook.

Continuous Improvement

  • Assists in driving a continuous improvement strategy within the business to result in ongoing incremental gains in quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of industry-central software(s) (RentalMan, Smart Equip, MS Office (excel)).
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic, powertrain, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain high-quality service standards.
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused, sales-oriented mindset.
  • Valid driver’s license required; CDL is a plus.

Education And Experience

  • 5+ years of mechanical experience.
  • Extensive experience in diagnostics and repair of heavy equipment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or technical degree preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and move heavy components and tools up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work outdoors and in various field environments.
  • Manual dexterity and physical stamina to work with mechanical tools and parts for extended periods.
  • Ability to operate service trucks and diagnostic equipment safely.

Licenses And Certification Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record and the ability to drive Company vehicles per insurance requirements may be required on a case-by-case basis.
