About the role

As the face of GFL in Elizabeth City, you’ll operate roll-off trucks to collect and transport waste safely, representing Team Green with professionalism and care.

Responsibilities

• Navigate local routes and customer sites with precision and a focus on safety and efficiency.
• Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections to maintain your vehicle in top condition.
• Represent GFL professionally while serving the local community.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety standards to ensure public and personal safety.

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with at least one year of commercial driving experience (or a CDL school certificate).
• Comfort maneuvering large vehicles in tight or high-traffic local areas.
• Commitment to working outdoors and upholding safety-sensitive professional standards.
• Physical capability to handle the demands of waste management, including lifting and frequent cab entry/exit.
