Darling Ingredients is looking to hire a Route Driver in the Tulsa, OK area. This route delivery position earns competitive pay, depending on experience, starting at up to $23.26 per hour plus OT. Responsibilities

• Collect and transport raw materials from a broad customer base (ranging from small-scale butchers, grocers, and restaurants up to large-scale slaughterhouses and food processors) back to facilities and transfer stations
• Drive a straight truck or a tractor-trailer and collect materials from multiple customers along your route each day
• Manage your route with an onboard computer (OBC) and keep an up-to-date backup paper log for compliance purposes
• Keep your truck clean and complete a vehicle condition report on a daily basis
• Provide exceptional professional service to all customers and follow all laws and regulations
• Enjoy being home every night

Minimum qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Authorized to work in the US
• Valid Class A CDL
• Good driving record

• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Customer service skills

• Adaptability and ability to work well with others

Preferred experience

• Two years of experience operating a commercial vehicle in a route delivery setting
• Experience with truck hydraulics

Schedule

All route delivery drivers operate routes in their local area. This full-time Class A CDL truck driving job also has the opportunity to work regular overtime daily.
