About the role
Gwinnett College is seeking an experienced and motivated CDL Instructor to help launch and lead our Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) program at our Marietta campus. This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on industry professional who wants to help build a program from the ground up — including assisting with the Georgia DDS program application, refining curriculum, developing policies, and establishing high instructional standards.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Experience teaching commercial driving
- Valid CDL with appropriate endorsements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred)
- Teaching certification (preferred)
Skills
- Excellent classroom and practical instruction skills
- Knowledge of commercial vehicle safety regulations
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
