About the role

This role allows you to leverage your CDL driving experience while being home at night and on weekends.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL License
• Minimum two (2) years of practical trucking-related experience demonstrating instructional competency
• Safe CDL A driving record as determined by the SAGE Safety Department
• Demonstrated knowledge of safe truck driving principles, practices, and regulations covering tractor-trailer interstate operations
• Ability to demonstrate SAGE curriculum subject matter to students
• Professional, respectful, motivated, mature, and safety-oriented attitude
• Must meet all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, including physical and driver qualification standards of Part 391, and pass a D.O.T. drug/alcohol screen

Responsibilities

• Communicate instructions to students and assess their performance
• Provide guidance on performing maneuvers on a skills driving range and in the truck on roads
• Work in 4 to 12-hour shifts
