CDL Driver/Warehouse

About the role

As a member of Farrell Roofing’s driving team, you are very important to the success of our company. Our drivers provide our field employees with the materials they need to finish roofing projects. Without our drivers, we cannot bid or complete roofing projects.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks
• Maintain Daily Log for CDL Driver
• Deliver materials to job sites
• Transport flatbeds and dump trailers to and from jobsites
• Help coordinate the movement of products in the warehouse/yard
• Ensure shortages, damages and accidents are reported to the Supervisor immediately
• Complete material transfer orders
• Accurate and careful handling of products with lifts to ensure safe and damage-free parts
• Maintain a good housekeeping standard, ensuring neatness and cleanliness in areas of responsibility, enabling the warehouse-yard to maintain a safe and efficient workplace
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervision
• Reliable and consistent in work performance
• Detail-oriented with an aptitude for doing things right the first time

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least one year of construction-related warehouse/yard and driving experience
• Forklift certification
• CDL A License
• Small engine mechanical knowledge desirable
